36 national and international speakers met at the recent scientific meeting PHYTOMA Vine and Wine II "New tools for the Integrated Protection of the Vineyard" that took place last March 29 and 30 in Logroño.
Ana Sagüés Sarasa (Negotiated of Oenology of the Government of Navarre), presented the results obtained in the trial of reduction of sulphur use for the control of Oidium that has been carried out in the framework of the LIFE AGROintegra project. The event, of high scientific value, which was attended by more than 350 technicians and scientists, was inaugurated by the Regional Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and the Environment of La Rioja, Íñigo Nagore, and by the vice-president of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) Vicente Sotés, both sponsors of the Meeting.
Attendees were able to learn about the latest innovations and proposals for grapevine pests and diseases control, as well as innovations in precision agriculture for vine cultivation, including the latest proposals in risk models, remote sensing and ICTs for cultivation.
